Overview

JP Steak House | Restaurante, Rodízio - Fortaleza is a prominent grill venue situated along the scenic Av. Beira Mar in Meireles, Fortaleza. This spot is designed for those who genuinely appreciate the art of meat, serving an extensive rodízio experience that invites diners to indulge in a steady parade of high-quality cuts, notably the classic Brazilian picanha and the robust tomahawk beef. The meats arrive mostly medium to well done, catering to palates that favor cooked-through tenderness over rare or blue cuts.

The restaurant’s ambiance merges a festive yet refined atmosphere, reflecting both its high standards and its accessibility. While some may find the vibe a bit conventional within the wider Brazilian steakhouse scene, the professional and attentive service team enhances the overall dining pleasure, making each visit comfortable and engaging. The space balances sophistication and warmth, making it an ideal destination for both groups seeking a celebratory meal and individuals craving a hearty feast.

Beyond its prime focus on grilled meats, JP Steak House impresses with a diverse menu that includes seafood options like fried shrimp, ceviche, and the flavorful camarão alho e óleo, alongside a salad bar that offers freshness to complement the robust flavors of the grill. Patrons can also explore an array of drinks such as classic Moscow Mules, sangrias, and inventive cocktails featuring fruit and liquor, adding complexity to the dining experience. For dessert, selections like strawberry cheesecake and gourmet sorbet provide thoughtful closure to the meal.

The location on Av. Beira Mar is strategic, providing easy access for locals and tourists alike, with scenic views that elevate the dining experience. The crowd here tends to be a mix of meat lovers, food adventurers, and families looking for quality dining in a vibrant setting. For those prioritizing a seat by the window to take in the views, arriving early is recommended, especially during peak times.

While the sushi options have received mixed impressions and some bar snacks fall short of expectations, the heart of JP Steak House remains its grill mastery. The continuous tableside service typical of rodízio-style eating ensures that meat never runs out, and the staff’s attentiveness helps maintain the flow at a comfortable pace. The bartenders and servers bring a friendly and welcoming energy that complements the overall setting.

In summary, JP Steak House | Restaurante, Rodízio offers a robust, meat-centric experience marked by quality cuts, professional service, and a well-rounded menu. It may not revolutionize the traditional churrascaria concept, but it confidently delivers satisfaction for those seeking a solid Brazilian rodízio in Fortaleza’s pulsating Meireles district.

It's a place where you go for the meat, there's an endless service, a rodízio. Meat is fine, of course you will always enjoy some cuts more than others, and it's basically all medium to well done, so nothing rare. Accompaniments are fine as well, very professional service. No complaints! That said it is a kind of generic place, there are others almost the same around Brazil. It's festive, high quality, but not that much "vibe". Go to enjoy the meat - price was totally acceptable too.

We had a fantastic experience at JP Steakhouse. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The prices were surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the entire visit even better. The restaurant has a very nice personality. The entrance it's high class. Many options to eat from the bar. Come here but don't try the sushi. Blend and dry. Some of the bar food is mediocre. I would stick to rice and beans and Of course, you come here for the meats. Meat is good. They come around before you finish the first round. Service is Great

We went there for Lunch the price now is 109.00 Reals per person. The service was great the beef good especially the Tomahawk Beef should have got 2 or 3 slices. You will know it because of the big bone still on the beef. The drink were good reasonable we had one each were 25 to 30 Reals. Desert strawberrie cheese cake but was small but good 25 Reals. There was a 10% charge for tip was about 30 Reals or it could be more.Because also a person playing a piano. So there was a additional 20 Reals but not sure what that was for maybe tax or using credit card. Total bill for 2 people 347.95 Reals I would go back at lunch you need the time to walk off all the food. Also if you want a window seat get there early it was at least half full it open at 11:30 we got there at 12:45 got a good table but not a window seat as we hoped to get.

Absolutely the best Brazilian BBQ experience I’ve ever had – and I’ve tried many all over Brazil! I ended up having dinner here every single night during my stay in Fortaleza, and honestly, I’d go back to the city just to eat here again. The meat was simply the yummiest and most flavorful I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection every time. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet – they truly make you feel at home. A special highlight is the cocktails prepared right at your table, which adds a fun and personal touch to the whole experience.

Very nice experience, the only little thing which I was unprepared was at the end of the food the waiter comes with some digestive liquors that he offers you but are not on the house and you find them in the bill at the end which especially for Italians in strange because it is in our custom at the end of a meal at a restaurant to get digestive liquors offered by the host but it still gets 5 stars

Good experience overall. Service is kind and efficient, musicians play live piano and saxo. Food overall is tasty, meats were unfortunately a bit dry and too salty (this applies to all beefs). Not sure if it was just today or it's always like that, so a but disappointed about the meat. Other than that, pretty good value.
